Well, some of you turned up! - thanks must go to those who did, the square is certainly looking a lot better for some care and attention.

The good news is that the moles had kept off the square, the bad news is that the earthworms had been having a field day and had brought so many small stones to the surface (at least least there are plenty there to help with drainage!).

Hopefully (equipment permitting) thingd should be ready for the start of the season.
